Description

Tree is Blevins’ first true outing into the land of electronic music. Created with childhood friend, Bryce Markle-Amaral, the duo worked tirelessly to create this work in a single evening one fateful night. Recorded on a built-in headphone microphone, the track features beatboxing by Markle-Amaral, something that would come to characterize many of Blevins’ later projects. The piece itself, while of a high production value, seeks to be more comedic in tone with a chaotic percussion break serving as the bridge and a so-quick-you-might-miss-it vocal stab for good measure.
